The business
Bag-à-porter was founded in 2007 in a 35 sqm space on the city’s main shopping street. Over time, the boutique built a strong, recognisable identity defined by its butterfly logo on a burgundy background.
The new concept
In 2024, PiùStore developed the concept for the relocation to a new location twice the size of the original. The project retained the brand’s signature colours and introduced a peach pink tone to expand the palette while remaining consistent with the existing image.
In-store experience and interior design
The shopping experience was upgraded by introducing two round mirrors at the centre of the store and two fitting rooms on the back wall. Layout and fixtures were designed to encourage impulse purchases and support cross-selling, making it easier to pair complementary products.
Design elements and visual merchandising
A key feature is the burgundy back wall. Spaced ivory necklace holders create a lighter rhythm, inspired by the idea of a cloud of white butterflies. These details contribute to an elegant, inviting atmosphere that makes customers comfortable spending time in the boutique while choosing accessories.
