The project
The new image for the boutique on Via Colombo in Genoa was developed around the store’s clientele and long history. In 2024, Bottino Corsetteria celebrated 90 years of activity. The redesign included bespoke fixtures, updated architectural finishes and a new lighting system.
The concept
The project references the 1930s, the decade when the business began. The concept draws from Art Déco characteristics: clean geometry, strong colour contrasts and the introduction of gold tones as an accent.
Fit-out
Original 1930s furniture and accessories sourced from well-known local antique dealers were integrated into the project.
The new interior palette, petrol green and soft pink, conveys both tradition and a contemporary attitude. Bottino Corsetteria positions itself as the only store in its category in Italy with an Art Déco concept.
